The distance between Katra to Pahalgam is 228 km, we would reach Pahalgam from Katra in approx 7 hours. One day is not enough for travel in Palagam, we will continue trip in Pahalgam next day.

Pahalgam, which was once a shepherds’ village, is one of the most beautiful spots in Kashmir. Situated about 95 km away from Srinagar, it is located 8200 feet above sea level at the confluence of Sheshnag Lake and Lidder River. As the valley is enveloped by snow-covered mountains, the maximum temperature doesn’t exceed 25 degrees C even in summer. One cannot afford to miss this place while visiting Kashmir as this is an actual slice of paradise for the nature lover. Within a small radius of 15- 20 km there are various other tourist spots like the Betaab Valley, Baisaran and many more.

Chandanwari:We will start our journey to Chandanwari.Lots of movies were shot here, this place is famous as the name of Betaab. The starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, the valley also has an ancient temple nearby which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and provides a beautiful picnic spot for tourists. The local market here provides Kashmiri handicrafts and other essentials like medicines. Besides an ideal picnic spot, Chandanwari is an excellent relaxation spot to unwind in the lap of nature. It also offers a variety of activities such as sledding, pony rides, trekking etc.

Betab Valley: Situated at a distance of 15km from Pahalgam. It is one of the most famous places to visit around Pahalgam. Surrounded by mountains and pine forests, the valley falls on the way to Amarnath and presents a combination of picturesque surroundings and peaceful relaxation. Snow-capped mountains and lush greenery gives an aesthetic appeal to the place. Apart from the impressive landscape, it is also famous for trekking.

Aru Valley:Located 12 km away from Pahalgam, Aru Valley is a hidden gem in Kashmir. The scenic rural settlement here is the starting point of trekking safaris to Kolahoi Glacier and Sonmarg. The valley provides misty surroundings, whispers of the native pines, breathtaking beauty and activities like trekking and horse riding. It becomes a winter wonderland during the winters.

After roam in Pahalgam, we will go to next destination Gulmarg which is 137 km far from Pahalgam. We will reach Gulmarg in 3-4 hours.

Gulmarg: Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers, is about 2 hours away from Srinagar (about 57 km) and one of the most visited tourist spots in Kashmir. It is covered with snow in winters and a lush green carpet in summer. The slopes of Gulmarg vary in elevation from 8,700- 10,500 feet, making it an excellent site for skiing. Gulmarg also offers visitors, the world's highest 18-hole golf course. The Gulmarg Gondola lift is a splendid attraction. It is one of the highest gondola lifts in the world. Gulmarg offers the visitor a range of activities like walking, skiing, golfing, ATV rides and much more.

Golf Course:Set amidst the snow-capped peaks and lush pine forests, the Pahalgam Golf Course is a popular attraction for both, golf-enthusiasts and nature lovers. It is an 18-hole golf course with a wide expanse of a plateau that rises at the spot where the Sheshnag and Aru Rivers meet. The serene and beautiful surroundings of this golf course offer a great opportunity to play golf. Visitors can rent golf equipment for which they will be charged hourly. There is also a deer park which is located on one end of this golf course where visitors can enjoy the captivating beauty of nature. Car itineraries usually do not include an extended stop here, therefore keep a lookout while you pass by this attraction.

Khilanmarg Snow Point:Khilanmarg valley is situated about 4 km away from the Gulmarg bus stop. It offers views of beautiful snow-capped mountains, out of which some of the prominent peaks are- Nanga Parbat and the twin peaks of Nun and Kun. The best time to visit the valley is between May to September as the place is packed with wild varieties of flowers. To enjoy skiing and other winter sports activities or snowfall, November to February are the correct months. The temperature is fairly pleasant during the summer. You can reach Khilanmarg by taking a pony from the Gondola, or by hiking.

Shankaracharya Temple:The ancient Shankaracharya temple is located in Srinagar atop Shankaracharya Hill, at a height of 1100 feet. It is dedicated to the Lord Shiva, the Hindu God of Destruction. The temple has withstood various natural disasters. This is a sightseeing place where travelers can see lots of adventuring places nearby this location. It is belived that ,this temple is visited by Adi Shankaracharya that's how this temple got this name. The main shrine, situated above a flight of stairs in a circular complex, dates back to the 11th century and provides a breathtaking 360-degree view of Srinagar and the Dal lake. Please note, no cameras or mobile phones are allowed inside the temple complex.

Dal Lake:Dal Lake is the most beautiful and frequently visited spot in Srinagar. It is the second largest lake in Kashmir. Surrounded by lofty mountains and the Mughal Gardens, the lake is everyone’s delight. Its floating garden is the highest attractive place for visitors which is nearby Shalimar & Nishat Garden. This lake is additionally a crucial source for commercial operations in fishing and aquatic plant harvesting. One of the most popular features of the lake in sight of the houseboats and Shikaras. A Shikara ride is a perfect way to take a tour of the lake, you can lounge back in your cushioned seat as the boatman guides the narrowboat through various sections and channels within the lake. Tourists can also opt to spend a night at one of the houseboats stationed on the lake, for a unique stay experience.

  • Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
  • A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room. The third occupant shall be provided a mattress/rollaway bed.
  • The itinerary is fixed and cannot be modified. Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal. For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process refund & same should reach the guest within 30 days of processing the refund.
  • Also, for any activity which is complimentary and not charged to GBO & guest, no refund will be processed.
  • AC will not be functional anywhere in cool or hilly areas.
  • Entrance fee, parking and guide charges are not included in the packages.
  • If your flights involve a combination of different airlines, you may have to collect your luggage on arrival at the connecting hub and register it again while checking in for the onward journey to your destination.
  • Booking rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Pricing of the booking is based on the age of the passengers. Please make sure you enter the correct age of passengers at the time of booking. Passengers furnishing incorrect age details may incur penalty at the time of travelling.
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
  • In case your package needs to be cancelled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. GoingBo shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
  • GBO reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  • Certain hotels may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotel policy.
  • The booking price does not include: Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees etc.
  • Any other items not mentioned under Inclusions are not included in the cost of the booking.
  • The package price does not include mandatory gala dinner charges levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. GoingBo shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However GoingBo may not have this information readily available all the time.
  • Cost of deviation and cost of extension of the validity on your ticket is not included.
  • For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
  • Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
  • Dudhsagar Waterfalls is closed in the monsoon (June - September).
  • Activities related to water sports are subject to weather and wind conditions on the ground.
  • The cost of mentioned tours and transfer is not valid between 6 pm to 8 am.
